Our team has developed a reliable solution for molten salt applications that will outperform the competition. Our cage guided/contour trim with no bellows design is specifically engineered to address to molten salt temperature challenges and lasts nearly 4,000 cycles, double the targeted live expectancy.

Our bellowless valve body and bonnet has been redesigned to allow simple installation of heat tracing instruments. Our UK based team also performs heat tracing using Computational Fluid Dynamics software on each valve body and bonnet to ensure that the desired temperature is maintained. Flow profiles within the valve body have also been redesigned to ensure that salt is not trapped around the sealing area. To ensure maximum sealing stem packing arrangements, we offer advanced sealing materials to handle highly corrosive media at prolonged high temperatures.

Learn more about our newly developed sealing arrangements and how they allow us to negate the need for a bellows bonnet arrangement, providing a more advanced technical and commercial offering for molten salt applications.

Technical Development Manager

Sanket has an engineering background over 15+ years of industry experience. He currently serves a Technical Development Manager with Trillium Flow Technologies in our UK valves facility. Sanket’s experience spans engineering and lead development roles. He attended the University of Pune to study mechanical engineering, The University of Sheffield to attain his Masters of Science – Research in Mechanical Engineering, and also attended the Alliance Manchester Business School where he received his Masters of Business Administration.

Senior Research & Development Engineer

Mikel has an engineering background with over 13+ years of industry experience. He currently serves as a Senior R&D Engineer with Trillium Flow Technologies in our UK valves facility. Michael’s experience spans multiple engineering positions. He holds a Mechanical Engineering degree as well as a Masters Degree in Construction Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of Bilbao, and also has his Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Design from The University of Manchester.
