The BSD range Gabbioneta Pumps® are heavy duty process vertical in-line overhung pumps with single suction impeller, designed in a back pull-out configuration for easy maintenance activities without motor removal. Computer desinged and fully machinned diffusers reduces virtually all hydraulic radial forces and limits shaft deflection at any flow. As option, pumps can be equipped with grease lubricated bearing, pure or purge oil mist lubrication, anti-reverse rotation device, steam jackets and casing insulations.

The VD and VLD centrifugal pump series are engineered to minimize NPSHr on high capacity vertical applications.

The VD and VLD Gabbioneta Pumps® are vertical multistage, volute type, heavy duty process pumps, available in double- casing or wet pit configuration. Double suction 1st stage impeller permits to meet low NPSH requirements, while the closed type impeller with front and rear wear rings and balancing holes minimizes the axial thrust. Labyrinths and deflectors at both bearing housing covers maximize protection against dirt and pump shaft, in one or two pieces, is fully machined to respect the more restrictive run-out API limits. Additional rigid coupling, to facilitate mechanical seal maintenance activities, and axial thrust tilting pad bearings for ultra high thrust operating conditions can be provided.
