It’s been just over a year since we announced the planned consolidation of our manufacturing activities to Fresno, California. We are pleased to report that fabrication for all value streams will now be completed in Fresno. Our next step is to relocate our multiaxis machines, which will take place in May and June.
Over the last several weeks, members of our Fresno fabrication team continued their training alongside their Salt Lake City counterparts. With a specific focus on the operation of the brake press and Amada laser, as well as flux core welding, the Trillium team remains focused on a seamless transition from Salt Lake City to Fresno. We have scheduled additional training to be completed throughout May as we continue constructing our US pumps headquarters.
Throughout the summer, all remaining product lines, including WEMCO and Roto-Jet brands, will be relocated to Fresno. This move will occur once the new state-of-the-art test lab is ready to begin testing in Fresno, currently slated to begin in August. Partial relocation will occur to allow assembly in both locations to minimize the interruption of deliverables to our customers. We’ve also completed all IT and engineering-related functions to incorporate all value streams into the Fresno business systems. Our team in Salt Lake City will utilize both business systems depending on the delivery requirements from this point forward.
