What are control valves and what are they used for?
A control valve is used for the control of process fluids, including liquids, gases, and multi-phase fluids. They are typically used in the process industry to reduce higher inlet pressure to a lower outlet pressure. Control valves can also be used for temperature control or simply filling the volume in a tank.
What are the benefits of control valves?
One benefit of using a control valve is ensuring stable pressure reduction without damage to the trim. Additionally, these valves come in different sizes, and the amount of pressure drop each can handle is different.
There are two different kinds of control valves we supply:
- Globe angle control valves
- Butterfly control valves
